Full Stack Developer

Hours 40 hours, Monday - Friday

As a Full Stack Developer within one of Alamy’s Delivery Squads you will be responsible for taking user requirements through to solution delivery. Our development team works in a project-based agile environment with Microsoft Team Foundation Server Framework and GitHub. They work on all components of Alamy’s web site and back-office systems (including CRM and finance) with a continual focus on speed and security.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on projects using technologies including Asp.net(C#), React/NextJS, HTML, CSS, jQuery, TFS, GitHub, AWS Services like S3, SQS, DynamoDb, Lambda (Node.js), API Gateway, EC2.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop applications following the process guidelines set by the department including coding standards, code reviews and configuration control
  • Create and execute Unit and integration test cases
  • Creating technical documentation
  • Provide problem analysis and resolution in support of existing applications

Preferred skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Master’s in Computer Application with 4 to 6 year’s of experience in software development of WEB BASED applications using technologies like Asp.net(C#), Web services, jQuery
  • Experience with TFS/GitHub
  • Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as React
  • Experience in working with Node.js and TypeScript.
  • Proficiency with server-side node.js based framework such as NextJS.
  • Familiarity with database technology such as MS SQL, MySQL
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases like DynamoDB/MongoDB
  • Strong object-oriented programming skills
  • Familiarity with developing unit test cases using NUnit/Jest frameworks.
  • Good to have knowledge in AWS Services like S3, SQS, Lambda (Node.js), API Gateway and EC2.
